A little bit about me

Hello! I am currently a full time nanny with a 14 month old little girl of my own! Due to moving, I am now searching for a new family to care for around the Courtland area. I will have my daughter with me so would love to find someone with a child who is similar in age. I am open to working in my home or yours. I've been working as a certified early education teacher and nanny for 6.5 years. In that time I’ve worked with newborns to 10 years old. Outside of the classroom I have babysat as well as led VBS classes. I have a passion for teaching and exploring with children and following wherever their minds take us.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Over the past 6 years, I have worked at childcare centers, pre-k programs, and nannied. This has given me experience with most age ranges up to 10 years old as well as ASL, potty training, recognizing letters and numbers, and plenty of other skills learned during these developmental years!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Every activity is a learning experience and I love exploring just as much as the kids do! From the zoo, beach, and aquarium to a simple walk around the block - there is always an opportunity for fun. Getting out of the house is a requirement for me! I will take any opportunity to just get out and see the sun at every chance I get so please expect regular outings. I also sing and dabble in piano so anything music related is always a blast!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Having the freedom to explore the world! We don’t always like sitting inside all day so why should our babies? I am all about finding new parks, zoos, museums, and any other fun places to visit. Even if it’s just running errands, you can expect us to be getting out at least 2-3 times a week.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite part about working with children is when they realize they can do something all by themselves. Seeing their face brighten with excitement when they finally realize they've done the thing is so amazing to me. After they've tried and tried again, it finally clicks, and you can just feel their pride and happiness radiating, that's the best part.
