I think the most important part to me is not only safety, but also a bond with the whole family. Building trust with not only the parents, but also the child(ren) is an absolute must in my book. The goal on my end is to make sure everyone is safe, comfortable, and happy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I lived on the coast, I had two younger kids (3 & 5) with me and took them to the beach. We found some tide pools and I got to teach them how starfish move and how to touch them gently without harming them. The smiles and excitement in their eyes were priceless.
