Hi! I'm Keeley, an elementary school teacher who recently moved to the Spokane/Coeur d'Alene area. I love working with kids and creating a fun, safe, and encouraging environment where they can learn, grow, and just be kids.

I bring experience from teaching, babysitting, coaching, camp counseling, lifeguarding, and teaching swim lessons. I'm CPR certified and believe in keeping kids active, curious, and engaged. Relevant experience caring for children includes working as an elementary school teacher, substitute teacher, nanny/babysitter, camp counselor, swim instructor, lifeguard, and youth coach. Through these roles, I've cared for children of various ages, planned engaging activities, supported learning and development, encouraged positive behavior, and always prioritized creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love planning activities that keep kids active, creative, and engaged! Some of my favorites include going to parks and playgrounds, nature walks, swimming, bike rides, arts and crafts, baking, reading together, building forts, board games, imaginative play, scavenger hunts, sports, and simple science experiments. I also enjoy helping with homework, visiting the library, and finding fun ways to turn everyday moments into learning opportunities. My goal is to create memories while helping kids build confidence, curiosity, and independence.

TI believe the most important part of being a nanny is building a relationship based on trust, consistency, and genuine care. Children thrive when they feel safe, seen, and supported, and I strive to create an environment where they can be themselves, explore their interests, and grow with confidence. I also believe in being a reliable partner for parents by communicating openly and caring for their children as if they were my own.

My experience with special needs children...

As an elementary school teacher, I've worked with children with a wide range of learning, behavioral, and developmental needs. I also worked at a summer camp serving children with special needs, where I supported campers in daily activities while helping create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment. In addition, I hold a Special Education endorsement, giving me a strong understanding of how to support children with diverse abilities. I'm patient, adaptable, and committed to helping every child feel valued, confident, and successful.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments working with kids is seeing them accomplish something they didn't think they could do. Whether it's finally swimming across the pool on their own, mastering a new reading skill, or building the confidence to try something new, watching that excitement and pride on their face never gets old. Those little victories and the relationships built along the way are what make working with children so rewarding to me.
