This past summer, there was an incoming kindergartener who barely spoke to any of our staff, and after spending some time with him, he chose me as his dedicated snack time buddy. Every day when kids were let outside to eat snack and play, he would grab my hand and make me sit with him while he ate. We loved to play "guess which hand the goldfish is in"!
