I was a Volunteer in High School for the Special Needs classes, which involved understanding the children and how they communicate, doing all sorts of fun activities!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Drawing, arts and crafts, Playing outside (trampoline/pool/walks), sensory activities, motor skills, developmental activities, playing with toys, reading!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part about being a nanny is understanding the children first. Everyone is different, we all like different things and communicate in different ways and I feel like people forget that sometimes! Children have amazing minds and imagination for sure but every child is different so I find it important to get to know the child, or each of the children, and what they like and learn how they communicate!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny job was when I was a nanny for a 1 year old boy earlier this year. After the first couple days he started getting more comfortable with me and then the week after it was a Tuesday morning and I walked in the door and he came running to the door with the biggest smile and just giggling and it was the cutest and sweetest thing ever and it made my entire week!
