Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Indoor activities like crafts, baking, cooking, reading, etc and outdoor as well such as water activities, parks, walks, biking etc. Im open to anything and love being both indoor and outdoor.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a nanny is making sure the children in my care feel safe, heard, and truly seen, while also keeping things fun and lighthearted. I also think it’s just as important that parents feel confident and at ease knowing their children are safe with me. My goal is for families to feel that their children are always in trusted, caring hands.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with older students with special needs at the high school level. I was part of a program where other students and I planned and led activities so we could spend time together and create a fun, inclusive environment for everyone.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my most memorable moments working in childcare was when I worked with one-year-olds and got to watch them reach milestones like learning to walk and grow in their communication skills, whether through signing or speaking.

Babysitter Available in Spokane, WA: Sage S.
Hi, I’m Sage! I have a strong passion for working with children and creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where they can learn and grow. I grew up in a family of five and began babysitting in my community from a young age. I earned my Bachelor of Science from Washington State University with a focus in Biology and Human Development. During college, I worked for 4 years at a highly rated childcare center with children ages 3 months–5 years. At 16, I also started teaching swim lessons and parent-and-tot classes for children 3 months and up. After graduation, I moved to Spokane and currently work part-time as an infant teacher. I love incorporating hands-on learning and creative activities into childcare! I am CPR and First Aid certified and have completed DCYF/MERIT-required trainings, including Safe Sleep. I’m excited to build personal connections with families and provide loving, dependable care!
