The most important part about being a nanny...
On of my memorable moments for me is how the children see me. I had a sweet little one that I took care of from a toddler to age 7, he liked art and ever time he drew me it was just a smile with eyes, arms and legs, then when he started using play dough and clay he made a pink smile with little eyes on top with arms on the end of each corner and legs attached, and I remember asking him how come I’ve never had a body in any of the pictures he drew for me, and he said the sweetest thing to me. He said that’s how I see you, you’re always smiling and we do fun stuff together and I like when you play with me and we build stuff, and you make the funny voices when you read to me, he was around 6 at the time. I still have my clay smile of his version of me as well as the drawings. Best feeling ever to know that for Ro he never had a dull moment with me.
