Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a stay at home momma, a Nursery Worker and my 1st every day babysitting job was at the age of 12 and my first live-in Nanny position was at 18. I did Therapeutic Foster Care and adopted 2 special needs children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Baking, crafts, nature walks, creating games, swimming (ocean or pool) dancing, siinging and whatever else is thier passion. I am not very interested in video games though....but I will listen...lol

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making a difference. Listening to thier "inner voices". Cultivating thier gifts and guiding thier growth while making sure that choc chip cookies are baked and rainy day movies occur!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Well, "Spiderman" went to the park with me last week and he climbed on everything, learned to climb a extremely difficult tree and jumped off a ledge that he hadnt previously been able to master. We saw a gorgeous Hawk and had a long talk about that too and the weather was beautiful! When I had gone downstairs after tucking everyone in and reading a story....I heard him calling my name and I thought for sure he wanted a drink or something...NOPE1 He just said...."Ms Kim, I love you." My heart melted.
