More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Relevant experience where I cared for children includes working at a summer camp with 18 upcoming kindergarten girls, helping them grow and learn skills for school, preparing lunches safely with dietary restrictions in mind, choreographing group dances for the talent show, creating safe and fun activities, and braiding and styling their hair when they wanted. Along with that I also help care for my younger siblings whenever needed. I am more than happy to help.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Arts & crafts, outdoor play, reading, educational games, creative projects (dance/music), board games, cooking/snacks, STEM activities, and imaginative play.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me about being a nanny is making a positive impact on both the children and their families. Growing up, I had a nanny who was an absolute sweetheart and became a part of our family, and I hope to bring that same care, support, and joy to the children I care for.

My experience with special needs children...

I have two younger cousins who have autism and are nonverbal. Through spending time with them, I’ve learned patience, effective nonverbal communication, and how to adapt activities to meet their needs. I enjoy creating fun, safe, and engaging experiences that respect each child’s abilities and comfort level.

The most important part about being a nanny...

As a camp counselor, I worked with girls entering kindergarten, and it was truly amazing to see how much they grew over the summer. From small milestones like learning to tie their shoes to becoming more independent in daily routines, I watched them gain confidence and skills. It was rewarding to see how much they looked up to me and to receive messages from parents about how often their children talked about me and the positive impact I had on their days. I also built strong relationships with each child, creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment, and learned patience, leadership, and creative problem-solving along the way.
