More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have several years of experience caring for children in both educational and childcare settings. I worked with the YMCA in child watch and afterschool programs, where I held roles as a Program Assistant, Program Leader, and Site Director. These positions allowed me to support children’s daily routines, plan engaging activities, and ensure a safe and structured environment.
In addition, I have over two years of experience working as a nanny, along with regular babysitting experience for families with children of various ages. I have also completed student teaching placements in both kindergarten and 4th grade classrooms, where I gained hands-on experience supporting academic, social, and emotional development.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy spending time with children through active, creative, and hands-on experiences. I love swimming, hiking, exploring, and playing outdoors, and I value giving children opportunities to connect with nature. Indoors, I enjoy engaging with a variety of toys and creating imaginative play, including building pretend worlds tailored to each child’s interests.
I also enjoy classic activities like hopscotch and chalk, as well as exploring bugs, getting messy, and learning about animals together. I’m especially passionate about encouraging curiosity through exploratory investigations and small projects. Additionally, I like finding creative ways to involve children in household chores by turning them into fun, age-appropriate activities that promote responsibility and independence.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is providing a safe and fun environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and cared for. This includes ensuring their physical safety, offering emotional support, and creating engaging activities that encourage learning and creativity. Building trust with both the child and their family is also essential, as it helps children feel secure and confident while in your care.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked as a student aide in a special needs program for one year. While my experience is limited, the role taught me how much patience, empathy, and understanding are required when working with special needs children. I learned the importance of being attentive to individual needs, communicating calmly, and providing consistent support. This experience helped me develop a greater appreciation for the care and dedication needed to support these students effectively.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite memories as a nanny was taking the two-year-old I cared for to the zoo. Seeing his excitement, laughter, and pure joy as he ran around and explored made the experience unforgettable. Watching him have so much fun reminded me how special it is to be part of a child’s happy moments.

I love the curious minds of children and their beautiful authenticity. Their creativity, honesty, and joy are what drew me to childcare and continue to inspire me every day.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, dancing, and practicing yoga. I'm a firm believer in lifelong growth and approaching life's challenges with resilience and a positive attitude.
I was adopted as a child after experiencing a difficult start in life. Those experiences shaped my compassionate heart and gave me a deep appreciation for the importance of helping children feel safe, seen, and loved. Being a positive, dependable presence in a child's life is more than a job to me—it's something I truly care about.
