Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a lifeguard at my towns local YMCA for over 2 years and taught swimming lessons for children anywhere from age 1-12. This taught me how to have patience with children when they are doing something out of their comfort zone and to approach things from different ways to see the result you would like.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I was a lifeguard for 2 years so during the warmer months I love swimming with children and showing them how to properly swim and save themselves if they were ever in a dangerous situation. I also love to do basic outdoor activities such as walks, playing at parks, and riding bicycles. Indoor activities I enjoy are coloring as it helps children learn shapes, colors, and objects. Simple cooking is also a great activity for children as it teaches them basic skills and it’s something most enjoy.
