I love coloring, playing in the floor, doing play dough things, doing things with sidewalk chalk, going on walks with the stroller, playing catch, teaching them how to hit a baseball, I just like to have a great time and make sure they are happy and safe always!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part about being a nanny is making the kids comfortable, making them feel safe, but also making sure that they have fun with you as well! You don’t want to be overbearing or bossy because they won’t like you. You wanna do your job and keep them safe, but they’ve got to be able to trust you and be kept happy at the same time. Also, do not overstep or do anything over the parents’ heads. Know your place as a nanny. I think if you can do all of that, then everyone will be happy 😊
My experience with special needs children...
Unfortunately, I don’t have much experience with special needs children. I am open for learning schedules, care, and the ins and outs of how various children behave with special needs. I am patient, teachable, and would love to be taught how to care for your child the way that you do!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I’ve never called myself a nanny, but my favorite moments are when I see the kids that I’ve watched out in public, and they come running to give me hugs and tell me how much they miss me!
