Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have experience with all ages. I have helped many families with child care. Prior to nannying, I worked at a preschool/daycare for children ages 15months- 5 years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love being creative. I love arts and crafts, creating unique, fun indoor/outdoor activities for the children.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One thing that makes a good nanny is passion. I truly care for children. I love seeing how their minds work. And, I love watching them grow and develop. I like knowing that I can make a positive impact on the children's lives. Seeing them smile and knowing that if they're not smiling, that they'll feel comfortable talking to me about what's bothering them. My goal isn't to just be an employee. It's to be there, be present and make life better in anyway that I can for the children as well as their family. A nanny is a caretaker.

My experience with special needs children...

Unfortunately, I do not have experience working with special needs children. Due to my lack of experience, I don't feel comfortable caring for them on my own. I know each child is different and I would feel terrible if I were to make things stressful, or more difficult for the child. I hope to further my knowledge to be able to help more children.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment... watching the children grow. They developed new skills and reach new milestones. Creating a bond with the children that is so special and precious. I keep in touch with a couple families, even years after working for them.
