A little bit about me

I started my career as a professional nanny 25 years ago & can't imagine doing anything else as a job! I specialize in caring for children newborn to 4 years old, but I also have experience caring for older children & I have cared for 10 sets of twins to date.

I am looking for a long-term position (6/+ months). My wages will need to go through a payroll company as I need a W-2.

One of the following weekly schedules would be ideal (open to hearing what your needs are):

30 hours a week (3 ~ 10 hr days)
Or
36 to 40 hours a week (4 ~ 9 to 10 hr days)
Or
40 to 50 hrs a week (5~ 8 to 10 hr days)

The position would need to have a set schedule week to week and I would prefer that the days be consecutive.

I am available to start a new position now & Hours/days are flexible.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I babysat for 5 years before becoming a nanny. Helped care for cousins before I became a babysitter.

I also volunteered in 2 of my cousin's first grade classrooms.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

For outings I enjoy taking them to a Gymboree class, a music class, the library for story time, to a farm, the children’s museum, the zoo, playdates & to the park (for a walk or to play at the playground).

For activities at home, I like to do sensory play, art time, working on milestones, story time, basic sign language and music/dance time.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for children with sever food allergies, NG tube feeding and NICU babies with feeding problems.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is when a child learns to call me Nanny or Nin or a name they came up with and is calling for me when I walk in the door every morning.
