A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Kristina. I'm 23 years old and I come from Puerto Rico. Since I was 12 I've been baby sitting. My niece I've taken care of since she was born in 2007 up until 2015 when her mom, my sister, got married. In 2011 my sister gave birth to the first boy of the family. I took care of him since then until early 2017 when she quit her job to take care of them. I am bilingual (Spanish and English)and taught them basic English and math. I love taking care of kids because it's a beautiful experience to watch their milestones and teach them knew things. I enjoy playing with kids because each one of them is unique. Between May and June of 2017 I started baby sitting the kids from the neighborhood I lived in until September when a hurricane destroyed my house and I couldn't bring them in anymore. A variety of ages and personalities. The more up close one was a little girl who just turned 1 year and teaching her how to speak and watching her learn how to walk made me realize that I enjoy this more than I thought. I like distracting kids and studying with them. My plan in the near future is to become a kindergarten teacher and working up close with kids will help me improve for my future dream job.
