Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have a bunch of younger cousins so not only have a watched plenty of other peoples children but I am constantly surrounded by little ones when I go back home to visit. I was also a youth soccer coach for a little bit so I can handle the large amount of energy all these little ones have all the time!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love being creative and getting kids off of their devices! So absolutely anything outside is my jam! I am very passionate about health and well being and getting kids involved with physical activities such as playing at the park, riding bikes or just simply playing wiffle ball in the back yard is fantastic. I also love getting kids involved with their meals and having them help me prepare them, this can help them with their self confidence, and promotes healthier eating as well as it being an essential life skill.
My experience with special needs children...
One of the first little boys that I ever cared for has Autism and also had a photographic memory. He is honestly one of my biggest inspirations due to the fact that when I first met him he was so shy, would hardly talk, but after the few years that I was with him he found his thing which is theater and has blossomed into a marvelous young man that I could not be more proud of!
