More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have baby sat for many years now. I have volunteered for a tutoring service as well. It was amazing I love working with the kids. Most were 1st grade - 4th grade. But I could help any with their homework. I’m great with math and art. I have 5 years of experience with infants so I’m confident I can help there as well. I know having babies is hard. I do have experience working with children who have autism as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am an artist so I love drawing with children or painting. We can watch movies, clean, I can teach them ( depending on their age) how to cook. Play board games. I love taking them to the park. I love helping them learn.

My experience with special needs children...

My baby brother is 11 years younger than me. I helped take care of him when he was a baby. But more recently I’ve helped him not forget his school supplies. Constantly checking in on him. Making sure he’s putting his clothes on right. He likes to use his teeth to open the hygiene bottles when showering so checking on him and asking him if he needs help is something I’m always doing. Cooking for him. Making sure he isn’t hurting himself. Making sure he feels heard and seen. Helping him clean up after himself as well.
