More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have gained valuable experience babysitting for several families in my neighborhood, as well as for my parents’ friends and other kids they know. I’ve cared for children ranging from toddlers to elementary school age, making sure they are safe, entertained, and well-fed. I enjoy playing games, helping with homework, and keeping a consistent routine like bedtime and meals. Babysitting has taught me responsibility, patience, and how to handle different situations calmly and confidently.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing a variety of fun and engaging activities with children. I like playing games with them, whether it’s board games, card games, or make-believe games that let them use their imagination. I also enjoy doing arts and crafts, like drawing, painting, or making simple DIY projects. When the weather is nice, I like going outside with them to play games, ride bikes, or go to the park. I also enjoy reading books together or helping with homework when needed. I always try to keep things fun while also being safe and supportive.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is making sure the children are safe, happy, and well cared for. It’s also important to build a strong, trusting relationship with both the kids and their parents. Being reliable, patient, and loving helps create a positive and supportive environment for the children to grow.

My experience with special needs children...

I don’t have a lot of experience working with special needs children, but I’m part of the Best Buddies club at school, which has helped me learn more about inclusion and building friendships with students who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through the club, I’ve had the chance to participate in activities and events that promote understanding, kindness, and support. It’s been a meaningful experience, and I’ve learned how important patience, respect, and communication are when working with individuals with special needs. I hope to gain more experience in the future.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when the kids I was watching surprised me with a handmade card that said “You’re the best babysitter ever!” They had drawn little pictures of us playing games and baking cookies together. It made me feel really appreciated and reminded me how much I enjoy spending time with them and making their day fun.
