One of my favorite nanny moments was when I was watching a young boy who was struggling with reading. He had a hard time staying focused and often got frustrated. One afternoon, we sat down with his favorite book, and instead of just reading it, we turned it into a game. I encouraged him to act out the characters and make sound effects as we went along. To my surprise, he started reading with enthusiasm and confidence. By the end of the story, he was so proud of himself, and I could see how much his love for reading had grown. It was a simple, yet powerful reminder of how a little creativity and patience can make a big difference in a child’s development.
