More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have hands on experience caring for children of various ages. Currently, I am an au pair. Prior to this, I worked as sunday school teacher for two years. Teaching and supervising children of all ages, which helped me develop patience, creativity and strong communication skills with both children and parents.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy a variety of activities that help children learn, grow and have fun. Some of my favorite activities include reading stories, doing arts and crafts, playing educational games, outdoor activities like walks or playground visits, music and dance and imaginative play. I also love helping with simple learning activities, like counting, colors and basic problem solving, in ways that feel fun and interactive.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing and fun environment where kids feel loved and supported and have the platform to truly be themselves. I believe in being patient, reliable consistent while also encouraging curiosity, creativity and learning through play. Building trust with the children and the families is very important to me, as it allows me to provide consistent care and make a positive impact on their daily lives.

My experience with special needs children...

I have not yet had the opportunity to work with special needs children, but i am eager to learn and adapt my skills to provide a supportive, patient, and a caring environment for all children. I am confident in my ability to follow guidance and routines to meet the individual needs of any child.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when i helped one of the children I care for accomplish something they were struggling with. Whether it was learning a new word, finishing a puzzle or tying their shoes for the first time. Seeing the pride and joy on their faces and knowing I played a small part in their growth is incredibly rewarding and always reminds me why I love working with children.

Full-Time Nanny Available in Seattle, WA: Taylor G.

Hi, I’m Tay! I’m currently finishing my bachelor’s degree in Political Science at The Ohio State University. I’m a hardworking and dependable person who takes pride in being responsible and attentive, especially when it comes to caring for others. As a member of OSU’s powerlifting team, I’ve developed strong discipline and patience; qualities I bring into childcare as well.

I’m a proud pet mom to two adorable cats, so I’m very comfortable around animals and understand the importance of nurturing and care. In my free time, I love reading and taking walks in the park, and I enjoy finding fun, calm, and engaging activities for kids. I’m excited to create a safe, positive, and supportive environment for your children and look forward to meeting you!
