A little bit about me

I am a retired special needs teacher who has taught every grade except 7th and 8th. I feel that I have had to deconstruct my box because Special Needs teachers receive money from the Federal government, unlike the General Education teachers who also get supplies from the principal that special education teachers don’t have the resources to receive. Because of this, I had to think outside of the box or simply make my box bigger in order to teach the skills needed in order for my students to catch up.
I love to keep a student engaged and make sure I have enough activities to “ take an activity break in order to calm the mind and get the wiggles out.
