I have worked in a daycare as well as ran a children’s ministry ! I also have lived overseas in an orphanage and helped in refugee camps with the children. I have been on several other missions trips that focus on helping children/orphans or teaching English, reading and math to children in other countries.

Coloring, dance parties, painting, singing, reading, using our imagination to come up with silly games, playing outside at the park, riding bikes, scooters. Barbies, dress up, fashion shows you name it!

The most important part of being a nanny to me is making sure the kids know you aren't there just for a job but that you are there for them! You want them to know they matter to you and that they can feel safe around you and cared for until their parents get home!
