A little bit about me

Hi,I'm 49 mother of 5 and grandmother of 7. All my grandbabies live out of state I miss them daily and hate I can't be there to help with them. As as single mother of 5 children I know how hard it is to have good quality care and to have someone to help with the small things that makes such a difference in our busy daily lives. I've been doing full senior care for the past 6 years it is a passion of mine and I am very knowledgeable on well health physical and mental.But do to some of my own health issues I can not do any heavy lifting and have to make some changes for myself. I had a cleaning business for 20 years when I moved to Colorado the full cleanings got to be hard on me so went to senior care. I love the babies, kids are great,it's important to me to know I'm helping make a difference in the quality of life through nurturing , nutrition, physical activity, mental stimulation to enrichment and well being of the soul.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I like to go swimming, museums, art shows and projects,music/hands on music sounds, nature walks,zoo/animals, parks/play time/ social encouragement, painting, building hand/eye coordination, introducing colors, numbers and shapes. Encourage self interest and personalities of being themselves and to explore/expand other possible likes and interests by introducing new ideas .

The most important part about being a nanny...

Giving children the proper guidance, structure, compassion and care makes them feel safe. To feel safe is the most important thing because that gives trust and then they can grow with strength and good character.

My experience with special needs children...

I come with compassion, patience,and great understanding of ones challenges with respect. As a young child I was always drawn to other children with disabilities I wanted to be their friend and to make them laugh. As a mother I had a son with mental challenges and I had to learn to meet his needs to give a better quality of life. As of doing senior care also comes with physical and mental challenges that I've made sure that they also got the best care with absolute respect and I do a full review on what all there needs are to give them the top quality,life enrichment that need to fulfill their daily life.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love that kids say the most honest things anytime, anywhere no filters! There creative imagination, curiosity and desire for knowledge of the truth is inspiring. I always find funny when they catch you busy and entertain themselves but making huge messes in the kitchen or bathroom pouring out all powder or messing in the Vaseline or mamas make up.. not fun to clean up but their faces or expression are to funny
