Hello, my name is Lauren and I am a medical student at UF Health Jacksonville. From babysitting at age 12 to assisting with neonatal resuscitation in the NICU, I have vast experience caring for children of all ages. I am applying to pediatric residencies in the fall, and I am very comfortable taking care of children with complex medical issues. I also love helping with homework! I graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in biomedical engineering. My goal is to provide excellent care for your children so you know they are safe and entertained while you're out.

My experience with special needs children...

I have had the privilege to care for children with a wide range of special needs including: nutritional support (dietary restrictions, feeding tubes, special bottle feeds, special formula), bowel function support (colostomy pouch), respiratory support (tracheostomies, inhalers/nebulizers, nasal cannulas), administering intramuscular and oral medications, non-verbal or neurodivergent children

The most important part about being a nanny...

Trying to learn how to make balloon animals and popping half of the supplies! Later in the week, they had their mom deliver some of their creations to me so they could show off their progress. It was so fun learning something new and persevering!
