For the past 8 years, I’ve worked as a qualified primary school teacher in Australia, teaching children from Kindergarten through to 6th grade. In addition to my classroom experience, I’ve also worked in childcare and vacation care settings, supporting children across a range of ages and needs. On a personal note, I’m a proud aunty to three nieces and a nephew, aged from 8 weeks to 6 years, and I absolutely love spending time with them - helping out, playing, and being part of their lives.

I’m always guided by the children’s interests and enjoy joining in on whatever sparks their curiosity and creativity. I especially love arts and crafts, imaginative play, and outdoor activities. I’m also happy to support with homework and tutoring, creating a balance of fun and learning in our time together.

It’s about creating a safe, positive environment where children feel supported, understood, and free to be themselves. It's amazing to watch the growth of a child as their eyes open when experiencing new things.Learning manners and respect is also a treasure when you know that it comes from them within. I've blessed with my children and my grandchildren. I enjoy the activity and sometimes the chaos that comes with everything. My grandbabies live further away now & my daughter has suggested that this would be a great way for me to help out families close by, I agree.
