Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Since the age of 18, I have worked as a babysitter for many families, including two long-term positions lasting over four years each. I also had the opportunity to serve on a medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic, where I helped fit hearing aids to children in need. These experiences has helped me develop strong leadership skills and responsibility roles.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

For indoor activities, I enjoy engaging children in creative and educational activities, such as arts, crafts, reading books and assisting with homework. I prioritize creating a positive and interactive environment for kids.
Regarding outdoor activities, I enjoy going on walks and organizing active games that keep kids entertained and active, whiles also ensuring safety at all times.

My experience with special needs children...

I was responsible for the care of children ranging from ages 2-13. One of my kids suffered from speech delays and sensory issues when eating. I was trained how to feed him properly and also helped him with his pronunciation and improved his speech. I also worked with a child suffering from severe anxiety and learned coping mechanisms to help him. This job required strong interpersonal skills and empathy.
