A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Lauryn Combs. I am currently a college student studying education, and I aspire to become a 2nd grade teacher. I began babysitting at 16. At the age of 22, I received my own classroom at three different Code Ninja locations, where I taught over 20 students six days a week. Many of my students were neurodivergent, and with patience and a calm approach, I was able to create a successful classroom. I am the second of four daughters. Family means the world to me, and I pray that I one day build my own. My hobbies include cooking, baking, sewing, running, and trying new boba shops :)

During my time with Code Ninjas I was blessed with many neurodivergent children and was made to partake in a class where I learned about the many different challenges children can face.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moments were when I would have to change the diaper of my adorable little one-year-old. Every time she pooped, she would look me in the eyes and shoot me a cheeky little grin like, "Haha, you have to change my stinky diaper," and though it wasn't my favorite thing to do, it became something I missed when I no longer babysat her.
