The most important part is making sure that there is trust between myself, the child/children, and the parents. If the trust is there, then laughter and fun moments are soon afterš.
My experience with special needs children...
The experience I have with babysitting the special needs is with many of my cousins. Autism runs in my family along with many other mental issues, mainly involving behavioral issues. I have learned a lot of patience due to my little sister's temper issues and my little cousins autism and bi polar disorder. I learned how to approach situations and how to remain a calm demeanor, if a child is upset.

My favorite moment is when I was watching my nieces and I got to help my niece be the superhero she wanted to be. She wouldn't stop giggling as I ran around the house with her in my armsā¤.
