My name is Lavern Merriman, and I have a longstanding passion for caring for others that ignited in my teenage years when I took charge of looking after family members' children. There is something incredibly rewarding about nurturing not just kids, but also geriatric adults, and I thrive on the joy it brings.

In September 2013, I began my college journey and proudly earned an associate degree in General Science. I then furthered my education, attaining my bachelor's degree in Natural Science and Mathematics in 2017. This strong academic foundation has equipped me to make a positive impact in public schools, where I've had the pleasure of teaching and nurturing students from pre-K to middle school.

In addition to my teaching career, I actively engage in babysitting jobs during weekends and after school, allowing me to continue sharing my passion for children and supporting their growth.
