Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked two summer seasons as an American Red Cross Lifeguard at Drytown Waterpark in Palmdale, CA, and was promoted to Senior Lifeguard (manager role) during my third year. This role strengthened my ability to supervise children, respond calmly in emergencies, and prioritize safety at all times.
I became a licensed EMT in June 2022 and held BLS certification, as well as infant, child, and adult CPR and First Aid certifications.
In school, I was an AVID student from 7th through 12th grade and enjoyed tutoring and helping peers with coursework twice a week.

During my employment at Drytown, I loved finding creative ways to keep excited kids safe and patient while waiting to ride down the slides; this usually consisted of memory games, rock-paper-scissors, and imaginative storytelling. But, I also enjoy reading stories, going to the beach/park to play, exploring the library, and bringing any of their ideas to life.
