Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I used to tutor kids during high school, I volunteered at the Head Start, I went to a trade school for Early Childhood Education my last two years of high school and there was a preschool incorporated inside the classroom. I now attend college for Inclusive Early Childhood Education and have placement each semester inside a school for experience. I also have worked at a daycare in the toddler room. I mostly have experience with younger children but have babysat older children.
My experience with special needs children...
In my placement I act as an aid in the inclusive classroom. From that I have had experience with children with autism, cerebral palsy, and down syndrome. I also helped a family for around two years with four girls, two of which have special needs.
