A little bit about me

I am a recent college graduate looking to move down to the Dallas area to set my roots! I love children and they love me! I have never met a child who didn't enjoy having me around! I have a background in education ( O have my bachelors in childhood education) and I have been a lead teacher at a daycare as well.
I am a very creative and fun-loving person, all the while being organized and a stickler for manners. I enjoy doing arts and crafts, and have a knack for cooking great food in the kitchen!

I am currently looking for a temporary live-in position ( about 4-6 months: care will continue after the move.) which will give me time in securing a new home. I am clean, respectful of people's space and belongings and courteous to say the least. I am the home body type and am fun, spontaneous and relatable as well! I add value to wherever I am, you and the kids will enjoy me as an addition to your home!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked with children professionally for over 5 years and I have only gotten better at my trade. I am good with all ages, and I'm able to relate and reach any age group. I have never met a child that I couldn't reach with love. I have a heart of compassion and patience for children and I love to be apart of their development and growth, supporting them as they reach their milestones. I have had experience as a nanny, and as a preschool teacher, I have also been apart of youth group leadership at my church. I also have a lot of experience in infant care! I consider myself to be a very well rounded individual teeming with a wealth of knowledge and discernment, and possess I believe what a lot of care takers lack, which is a true love for children that is willing to hold them as a top priority!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

On a rainy day I would take the time to do something creative with the kids whether it be drawing a picture, painting, building forts, watching movies, composing a song, or doing some crafts, I love to learn new things and explore ,and I always encourage children to ask questions and dig a little deeper, so this would look like an all day trip to the library reading books on different things, or watching videos to learn more about the world around us! I would also take the time to cook a special meal with the kids or do a science experiment!

For the sunny days, I love the idea of going out to parks and doing walking trails, and other activities such as soccer, swimming, and whatever comes up that day I am enthusiastic about life and living and I always look for opportunities to explore to learn and to grow, it will never be a dull moment for me and the kids!
