A little bit about me

Most recently, I was a nanny for two boys ages 3 & 10. I started working for their family when the toddler was 7 days old, as I’m very comfortable taking care of newborns. Now that he is off to preschool, I’m looking for another local family that may be in need of my services. I was also a part time nanny in college for 3 girls (infant, toddler, & teenager). A little more about me; I have my Bachelors Degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Science and I own my own financial practice. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Any and all sports, making homemade play dough, sensory bins, reading books, teaching math and money skills, teaching entrepreneurship, crafts, puzzles, matchbox cars, manicures. I’m pretty well rounded and well liked by both the boys & the girls. I have an SUV for transportation so if you want me to get them out of the house I’m pretty good at finding local activities that are kid friendly and free.

My experience with special needs children...

I cared for a toddler with CP who was highly intelligent and required therapy treatments to improve the elasticity in her legs. I was comfortable putting on her “pretty boots” and doing her exercises with her. I did my best to instill confidence at an early age because her doctor said she would be in leg braces for the rest of her life. Her self esteem was always my top priority and it was heartwarming to watch her grow up and pursue her dreams. Every child deserves to be happy and thrive.
