I led camps, birthday parties, and small classes with children as young as 9 months to children as old as 8. The most important part about being a nanny...
Being able to be that individual that children trust and love being around! The biggest gift I feel is gaining a true friendship, understanding, and level of trust with the children. Allowing them to enjoy every minute with me! I feel sometimes it’s difficult for children to completely come out their shell and begin to grow with someone new! I love being able to help kids not only just as a nanny but educator in the easiest ways possible.
The most important part about being a nanny...
When I was a nanny for two twin infants it was hard to get them used to saying my name. Almost two years old but I still tried everyday so they’d get it! One day while giving them a bath the brother said “Lani” (short for Leilani), it made me so happy on the inside! Being able to teach something so small but seeing it stick is amazing.
