A little bit about me

Hi there! My name is Leo. I am an openly trans and queer affirming nanny.

I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2017 with a BA in Sociology. I also completed one year of graduate school, with a focus in social work. However, I left to pursue a career in filmmaking. Still, my background is primarily in community building & community care, and heavily influences my approach to childcare.

I have over 10 years of experience with newborns & infants. I also lived with friends who had children and I acted as an additional caregiver-- a very chosen family / community-focused approach. Care responsibilities included: tummy time activities, sleep training, contact naps, potty training, transporting to and from infant swim classes, and administering medication related to asthma (inhalers / chambers). I'm patient, creative, and organized. I love dogs and cats. I have built incredible stamina for listening to Rafi on repeat 🙂

This of course does not mean I see them as adults but rather as people who deserve kindness and respect.
