I enjoy crafts, reading, pretend play, outdoor play, sports, video games, and almost anything a little kid might enjoy. Especially being silly. I could also make sure to integrate educational activities.

Giving a child a safe environment full of love is my priority. However, it’s also important to provide opportunities for growth and exploration. And if you can provide those in a fun manner that’s a bonus. Understanding each child is different and has a different set of needs is critical for being an effective nanny. Each child needs a different approach but the same loving heart from a nanny.
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve worked with my brother since birth who is an autistic teen now. My other brother has had many diagnoses such as ODD, ADHD, early childhood schizophrenia, developmental delays. My nephew that I currently have is learning sign language with me because he hasn’t started verbal communication.
