More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Playdates, doctors appointments, swimming classes, dance classes, date nights.
I've been working with kids multiple ages since teenager. Mostly working at birthday parties when I was 15 until 17 yo, always assisting the kids during play time, face painting, ballon sculptures.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Taking them to playground, parks, backyards, walks around the neighborhood. I do believe kids needs to have quality time spending some energy around as the weather cooperates.
Reading and arts and crafts. I do believe stimulating their creativity is the key for them to develop a healthier brain.
Appropriate games for their age
Communication. I do talk with them all the time and I always stimulate them to talk about their emotions, ideas, how was they day at school.Talking openly it’s being my key for a better behavior for years.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The love and the free hugs we as nanny receive. Their energy are so simple and pure to be around. The best thing for me it is the smile I get when I show up in the morning.
My experience with special needs children...
I nannied a child with autism, even though his behavior was challenging, we got along pretty well and I always let him have his time to calm down before talking about some issue. It brought me the curiosity to read and know more about children behavior. I also studied a technique called Access Bars that is known to be helpful for children with special brains.
The most important part about being a nanny...
It’s had to choose just one but I do believe all the school presentations and meetings I had the opportunity to be part was so special. The first time a toddler use the potty and how proud me and the parents felt. When they write their name for the first time or do something new for the first time also.
