I currently work at Neverland nursery during the fall, winter and spring.
I have worked at kindercare before Neverland nursery.
I have babysat 2 little boy’s preschool age when I was in high school.
I have been babysitting my best friends baby since she was 3 months old and she is now 2 years old.
I also was a teacher assistant for Marcola elementary school for grades 1 and 2 when I was in high school.
And last but not least I have a daughter of my own that is 10 so I am a mom myself.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love going to the park, dancing with them, playing outside, teaching them things that are developmentally age appropriate like learning their alphabet, numbers, colors or animals and what sounds they make or anything else that is age appropriate to teach them. I also love reading to them and playing along with there imagination like making fake food with them and pretending to eat it or even pretending like we are on a train ride or something and we are going to a place they have always dreamed of going to. I also love to play with or even make play dough with them or play with kinetic sand with them. If you pick me I can assure you your kiddo or kiddos will be well taken care of and will have a ton of fun with me.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is making sure the kids are being safe and are safe, taking care of them and having a blast with them!
My experience with special needs children...
I love working with special needs kiddos, I actually am a really good buddy to a preschooler at the daycare I work at he is partially deaf so we have been using lots of sign language with him which I’m continuing to learn more and more of. Because he is partially deaf he has a hard time communicating so he gets frustrated easily and will spit at you, hit you or even bite you so I have experience working with those kinds of situations and I have watched numerous training videos for autism and special needs. I have also worked for JCpenny portait for 6 years and I had to take pictures of special needs sometimes there as well and I enjoyed it. I also have my own photography business and sometimes I take pictures of special needs for that too. Special needs/autistic people have a special place in my heart.
The most important part about being a nanny...
When I helped a family out and started potty training their 2 year old and she went potty in the toilet for the first time when I was babysitting her. Also another favorite/funny moment world be when we’re having strawberries with our lunch and she ate all hers and then stole mine.
