My experience with special needs children...
My brother was born with microcephaly which is another form of intellectual disability such as autism or down syndrome. I have spent most of my life helping care for him and went to learn more about kids just like him. In high school, i was part of the best buddies club where we would do activities and spent great time with special needs groups and learned to care for them.
