I currently work at a YMCA teaching both private and group swim lessons. I've been teaching there for a little over three years, and absolutely love it.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love making music; playing guitar and singing. I also love going on walks and bike rides, hikes in the woods, and drawing with chalk! I love doing arts and crafts, like making paper flowers and painting.

My experience with special needs children...

In school I participated in a couple different programs with other students with special needs and differently abled students. While I definitely have much to learn, in my experience, patience and kindness are the most important thing when working with any child, special needs or not.
