Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked with several families over the past five years, caring for children ranging from infants to school-age kids. I spent a year with a family of three children, ages 2, 4, and 7, where I helped with school pick-ups, daily activities, and light housekeeping. I also provided childcare for a family with twin infants for six months, focusing on feeding, nap routines, and developmental activities.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I absolutely love engaging children in creative activities that stimulate their imagination and help them express themselves. Art and crafts are favorites of mine!

I love guiding kids through drawing, painting, and making fun projects. Music is also a big part of my time with children, whether it’s through singing songs, playing simple instruments, or dancing. Nature walks are another great way to explore the world around us, discovering new plants and animals. I also enjoy photography and scrapbooking, where children can capture their memories and create something special.

Additionally, I incorporate creative learning into daily activities—like reading, writing, and interactive schooling, making sure it’s fun and engaging.

My experience with special needs children...

I used to babysit a neighbor boy with special needs, and it was such a rewarding experience. We spent a lot of time doing activities that worked with his strengths, like arts and crafts, which helped him focus and express himself. I loved taking him on nature walks, where we’d explore and talk about everything we saw. I also helped with daily routines, like meal prep and making sure he took his medications on time, always with a caring and patient approach. It was such a joy to see him grow and thrive in a safe, loving environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when I was caring for a young girl who loved art. We spent the afternoon painting and creating a huge mural on the wall of her playroom. Her excitement was contagious as we mixed colors and worked together to bring her vision to life. Later, we took a nature walk, and she showed me her favorite flower spots, proudly pointing out every detail. It was such a special moment of bonding, and I loved seeing her creativity and curiosity shine through.
