The most important part about being a nanny...
SUPPORT!!! My parents are typically very busy, so chores, groceries, and more are usually held back until they are off to take care of those things. I think as a daughter it is the bare minimum to help them out with chores so that they come home to a nice, clean home. Nothing is worse than coming home to a mess that will only make you stressed out more. Nannying is a responsibility that should be taken with care and consideration. You are not only nannying to take care of children, but supporting the family in need of someone’s help to ease stress and reduce anxiety and struggle.
My experience with special needs children...
My school district hosts a field day for students with social needs. Student leaders and athletes are paired with one special needs student to either participate in races, face painting, games, and so much more. My partner was more into running, so she competed in races and won plenty of medals. When the children had to take the bus back to their school, she would not leave my side and it was the saddest yet cutest feeling ever. I could feel that she had just warmed up to me and it was already time to leave. Truly the cutest, sweetest girl ever!
