"Her patience, sense of humor and upbeat attitude, her willingness to take on whatever needed to be done. We taught together for several years, and then I visited her class when she taught at another school. Lisa was great with kids and adults, fast and slower learners."

Michelle
"She is very dependable; she would complete tasks assigned, as well as those she freely volunteered to do.
I worked with her in a leadership role, and she has a fantastic rapport with others, a willingness to do her job well, and she knows how to set realistic expectations.
I’ve also observed her working with middle-school aged children and admired how well she relates to them not only from a personal connection but also in teaching them to their level. For example, one girl was really rude to another girl, and instead of chatising the rude child, she calmly related and asked thoughtful questions, so the girl could see how her behavior was hurtful. In many of Lisa’s interpersonal skills, she seems to be positive, yet she is not a pushover."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I am a certified teacher for grades 1-6 and also math grades 5-9. I have taught grades 4-8 since 1998. When my son was small I worked at a pre-school where I was the lead teacher for the two year old classroom.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy swimming, walking/hiking, visiting museums, science centers, botanical gardens, sporting events, exploring parks, playing ball and outside games, puzzles, legos, blocks, art and crafts, and all kinds of logic/board games.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My experience with children has mostly been in the classroom. I believe that the most important part of being a nanny is to be a support to the parents, and as a nanny I would treat the children in my care as if they were my own grand children.
My experience with special needs children...
I have had children in my classroom that had autism spectrum disorder, and I also have experience with children who had various learning and behavior challenges including ADD and ADHD.

Hi, I’m Abbey! I just graduated from the University of Utah, and am moving back home to save up for grad school. I’ve had a little over three years of experience nannying for families around my neighborhood in Florida. Before that, I worked in the daycare at my church all through high school.
Full-Time Nanny Available in Port Charlotte, FL: Savannah A.
Hi! My name is Savannah. I decided to become a nanny because of my creative and energetic personality. (You could probably say "child like"). When I have children of my own I'll definetley be the kind of mom to be on the playground with my kid instead of watching from the bench LOL. My experience is with many young children at a time engaging them in creative activities. I was a dance teacher for ages ranging from 6-14 of both boys and girls. Working in the day care at a local YMCA I also have experience in overseeing the children’s development and assisting them with their homework. I am super comfortable playing with children, reading them books, and focusing on them completely .
My childcare skills and caring nature will help me fill this nanny role.

I am 36 single mom with a 9 year old son. Worked in management, education & child care. Which has educated me in people skills & working with children as well as special needs children as well. I am upbeat, positive, down to earth & clean. I cook healthy and lead a healthy lifestyle. I can teach children on different levels everyday skills mentally & physically. As of June I retired as an educator do to my diagnosed autoimmune disorder which does not allow me to hold my arms over my head for hours at a time. Currently I have been remodeling my home until I find a job that I enjoy to do. I have shared custody with my son every other week & help from family to accommodate my work schedule. I would love to meet your family face to face so you can feel my energy as well as seeing how well I interact with children. I was a step mom of 3 plus my son. I am good with all ages & enjoy being around children in general. I hope to meet you soon! Thank you- Casey Anderson
