A little bit about me

I have worked in childcare facilities with children of all ages from 6 weeks to 12 years. I am a very hands on, engaging person and enjoy turning real world lessons into games and fun. Arts and crafts for fine motor development, obstacle courses for gross motor development, reading books to promote healthy social-emotional relationships and sensory exploration to grasp a better understanding of the world around them. I take every opportunity to turn boring, everyday tasks into positive, engaging experiences by continuously talking with children about the world around them. I went to Schoolcraft college and obtained an associates degree in early childhood education. I provide daily enrichment lessons, art projects, sensory exploration and outdoor play to fill our day with as little, if any, screen time. I drive a minivan with plenty of room for car seats for trips to the zoo, science center or even grocery shopping if needed!
