A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Elizabeth Stachowicz, but everyone calls me Liz. I am a child care provider with over a decade of experience. I am also a professional artist with a master's in education. I have lived in Philadelphia since 2006, and I have worked in child care for almost as long. My main focus as a child care provider is overall wellness; I strive to foster balanced nutrition, socioemotional growth, and self-awareness for the young people in my care. I love getting everyone outside: heading to a park, the pool, an art or science museums, or a local event. However, I am equally comfortable collaborating creatively inside on rainy days. Inside or out, creating opportunities to learn about the world is a highlight of our time together. Most importantly, I strive to treat the children in my care as if they were my own.
