Normally I’d like to learn the children’s interest so we can spend free time doing what makes the children and the parents happy. And anything educational inside or outside is always fun as well. With kids of age games like monopoly are always a blast. And simple walks in the park are a great way to spend time with the kids as well to make sure they are staying active.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part about being a nanny is first and foremost to make sure you follow what the parents want for their child. I don’t know first hand but I’ve learned that being a parent having to leave your child in the hands of someone else is already stressful so it’s important they choose someone who will teach their children the morals and values they have. And of course to keep the kids safe. Kids will be kids. We have all been kids at one point and having the right guidance is very important so the kids don’t get hurt or in trouble.

I have friends and family around me that do work with special needs children who I have learned a lot from in the last years.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I love seeing how different each baby/kid is. I love moments when we bond. When they do a certain thing that’s silly. Knowing what makes them laugh. I have one baby who loves his food and at 7 months would get very angry with me if I took more than 5 seconds to feed him his next spoon full. It was the funniest and cutest thing ever. I also have a child who is almost 3 who loves to play pretend now so I love seeing where her imagination goes.
