As I mentioned in my "Get to Know me", I love being active! I enjoy walking the children I babysit to nearby parks so they can play outdoors. Growing up, I was very involved in sports, so I love to stay active that way. Whether it's soccer, basketball, dance, or any other sport that gets me moving. I also love playing board games, reading books, coloring, baking/cooking, and doing age-appropriate educational activities.

Although I believe fun is extremely important in babysitting, I also recognize the importance of keeping everyone safe and comfortable. This builds trust with the families I have babysat for in the past. I am Basic Life Support Certified and am also currently furthering my education to be a nurse. As I mentioned, I love having fun and always make sure the people around me do as well.

My experience with special needs children...
Although I do not have experience babysitting children with special needs, I have recently been volunteering with a group of neurodivergent individuals, where I have focused on creating sensory-friendly environments, using clear language, and creating a positive environment. I also strongly believe that through my nursing program, I have been introduced to caring for those with special needs or other disabilities. Overall, I am confident in my ability to care for and babysit neurodivergent individuals.
