A little bit about me

Hello! I'm Lucy — I'm a student at NYU and I've been babysitting for about 7 years (since I was 13 or 14 years old).

I'm enthusiastic and patient, and I love connecting with kids of all personalities. I'm happy to help out with homework, get into a fun craft, go to the park, do bedtime, fix up dinner, and whatever else you might have in mind!

I've also worked with kids through two different volunteering experiences: as camp counselor and teacher's assistant at a Baltimore nonprofit's summer enrichment program for kids from Title I schools; and as a literacy tutor at in Brooklyn.

Finally, it might be worth mentioning that I lifeguarded when I was in high school, so although my First Aid + CPR certification has since expired, I know well how to handle any scrapped knees, bee stings, etc.
