A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Lux and I am currently living in Atlanta, Georgia. I went to the University of Georgia where I studied Gender Studies and Public Health. I've spent the last 5 years working in community advocacy with immigrants in Georgia and also doing non-partisan electoral and civic engagement work. My passion is being in service to my community. I have experience with care work in different forms, from doing elder care to child care. I have worked as a preschool teacher where I led classes of 6-8 toddlers aged 1-3 and have experience working with newborns and infants as well. I have also worked as a live-in and live-out nanny for children under the age of 6 and have also done gig/casual babysitting jobs. I love working with children and am always delighted in all the ways that we can learn from one another. I have CPR certification, speak Vietnamese, and can also do things like light housework, errands, meal prep, and K-12 tutoring in a variety of subjects. I also love pets as well!
