A little bit about me

I have been an aunt since the age of four years old, and learned to feed my nephews/neices and change their pampers at the age of six. I began babysitting at the age of nine. Also, I have worked for the Lake Ridge School System for the past eighteen years as a substitute teacher, an after school site coordinator, and as an assistant in the Read-180 program.
I have also worked as a police dispatcher for New Chicago Police Dept. and Schererville Police Dept a little over twenty years ago.
I am a thirty-three year member of The Rock Church Hobart, and am a volunteer in a few capacities.
I love being around children, helping them grow and teaching them, this stems from growing up in a huge family.

I am an aunt of 30 nephews/neices and 16 great-nephews/great neices, I have worked for 18 years for the Lake Ridge Schools in Gary, IN; and have assisted in programs involving children at my church of 32 years, as well as work as a volunteer in a couple of capacities.

I enjoy being outdoors, playing, riding bikes.
I do enjoy being indoors, coloring, playing games, and spending time with the kids.

Is making sure to 'listen' to the kid(s), have patience and assist. IF you don't teach them how to communicate with you; you won't know how to communicate with them.
